1st team - West Midlands Division 2
Kingswinford 1 - 0 Newtown

Goal scorer- Ranjit Bhadal

Kings final game of the season against 2nd place Newtown proved to be one of the toughest games of the season, with the winner claiming the championship.
A physical game ensued with several yellow cards and a red card being brandished. Kings did not have many chances throughout the game but soaked up Newtown's pressure well. Kings awarded no-nonsense keeper, Dave Adams, the man of the match for his spectacular but crucial saves to deny Newtown and keep Kings in the game.
With the score level with 5 minutes remaining, Kings took a free hit 25 yards out. A deft deflection by Ranjit Bhadal past the keeper gave Kings the break they needed.
All out defensive work was then employed for the last few minutes to give Kings 3 points and the top spot promotion they have been seeking this season. The work now begins for Kings to build upon their successes for next season.
